 FAQs

Before starting any project we’ll hop on a consultation call where you’ll be able to ask any questions you have, but here are some quick answers that may help before then!

  • When discussing your needs we will do our best to establish the accurate amount of hours that you’ll need from me each week so that there is rarely leftover time. The purpose of a retainer agreement as opposed to hourly work is to mutually agree on a set number of available hours from me and a set amount paid every two weeks by the client, therefor unused hours will still be billed and hours cannot be rolled over into future weeks.

  • I always like to help my clients when there are urgent needs or questions, but I do my best to keep my working hours to the scheduled days so that every client gets the fair amount of attention.

  • Depending on the amount of hours needed per week, between 2-3 retainer clients at once.

  • Most of my retainer clients use either Slack or email for daily communication, and also add me to their task management systems like Monday or ClickUp.

  • The earlier the better! But the main goal is to have a good idea of what I’ll be doing each day before I start working, so staying at least a week or more ahead is always the goal.

  • The minimum contract for a retainer client is two months.
